The city of Kranj was the home town of France Prešeren, Slovenia’s greatest poet, who is also buried there. Visit Prešeren’s grave and memorial museum in Prešeren’s grove where the poet Simon Jenko is also buried. Kranj is a pleasant town with a rich history, culture and architecture.
